OnTrack Staffing is assisting a leading developer of both corporate and education focused IT management software solutions for the past 30 years. We are looking for a Customer Retention Specialist.

Salary $40-$45K plus commission
The Role:
As part of our education inside sales team, you will be responsible for nurturing existing customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and ongoing account retention. Your assigned accounts will be ongoing users of our award winning classroom management, IT asset management & Safety Suite and our mass alerting & emergency notification software.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Contact existing clients 45-60 days in advance of their support contract renewal date and provide timely quote information.
- Conduct proactive follow up efforts to secure contract renewals within specified time periods.
- Develop potential up / cross selling opportunities through proactive account management, identifying any changes to customer needs & requirements.
- Utilize assigned CRM (Salesforce) to maintain accurate and up to date customer records.
- Produce accurate sales forecasts for assigned accounts.
- Serve as the nominated point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Regularly contact current customers throughout their annual maintenance period to verify continued usage and satisfaction of their purchased solution.
- Proactively keep up to date with latest product information to help develop your role as a trusted adviser.
Specific Characteristics:
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal).
- Self-motivated without the need for continued oversight.
- Positive outlook with a willingness to seamlessly integrate into a team environment.
- Professional attitude with some experience of working within a corporate environment.
- Some computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and/or CRM (Salesforce).
