•Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment problems.

•Design, modify, and install equipment as needed.

•Communicate with departmental supervisor and management regarding equipment problems, needed repairs, and scheduling of repairs and maintenance.

•Maintain equipment files and updating electrical schematics to note changes

•Maintain Electrical parts and supplies inventory

•Understanding of electric, pneumatic and hydraulic energy sources.

•Work with blueprints, specifications, and other standards including NEC Codes

•Knowledge Industrial Electrical Maintenance

•Follow all required work safe practices including lock-out tag-out requirements and wearing of all required PPE in designated areas including arc flash protective equipment.

Requirements:

• INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN WITH EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF PLC’S, VFD’S, INSTRUMENTATION AND MOTOR CONTROL CIRCUITS
• MOST PLC’S AND VFD’S ARE ALLEN BRADLY
• MUST HAVE BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF HYDRAULICS AND PNUEMATICS.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training
