Job Summary

Forklift operators will be responsible for loading and unloading material operating a sit down gas forklift

• 1st : 6:15 am – 4:45 pm $17/HR
• 2nd : 6:15 pm – 4:45 am $17.25 /HR

Responsibilities:

• Operating and managing product for the trucks load and unload
• identify damages
• report shortages
• inspect machinery
• compliant with company policies and guidelines
• assist in keeping a safe work environment
• attention to detail
• excellent hand eye coordination
• Adherence to safety principles always
• good time management skills
• Know and follow standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assignedMake sure the labels on totes are completely removed to prepare for new fulfillment of the tote

• Must be able to frequently walk around a warehouse floor
• 3 years of verifiable Forklift experience
• Must be able to get badged by Mercedes Benz.
• Must pass a drug test
• Must pass a background test
• Must have good communication skills both written and verbal

• This job operates in a warehouse environment. Temperatures may vary from hot to cold depending on seasonality
• Noise level may be high
• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. Bending and/or reaching may be required.
• Personal Protective Equipment must always be worn while on the Shop Floor to prevent injury to self or others.'
