Pay: $15.00 - $15.38

Purpose:

•  To ensure that all empty plastic totes are being sorted in the correct piles for their designated departments. Wrap the totes on pallets to ensure they are secure for forklift operators to move.

Responsibilities:

• Adherence to safety principles always
• Know and follow standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assigned
• Make sure the labels on totes are completely removed to prepare for new fulfillment of the tote

Skills:

- Good communication skills both written and verbal

Requirements:

· Must be able to frequently walk around a warehouse floor

· Must be able to get badged by Mercedes Benz.

· Must pass a drug test

· Must pass a background test

Work Environment:

· This job operates in a warehouse environment. Temperatures may vary from hot to cold depending on seasonality

· Noise level may be high

· The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. Bending and/or reaching may be required.

· Personal Protective Equipment must always be worn while on the Shop Floor to prevent injury to self or others.
