POSITION  SUMMARY: 

Load and unload delivery trucks. Assist in shipping of materials for customers. Maintain warehouse in a neat and orderly manner.

ESSENTIAL  FUNCTIONS:                                      

Load and unload trucks. Coordinate all warehouse shipping and receiving activities.

Receive parts and accessories and verify packing lists.  Maintain complete and accurate shipping and receiving documents to include: packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping/receiving logs.

Note any damages, shortages, and overages on shipping documents.

Stock warehouse shelves and maintain accountability for accessory and repair parts.

Assist in conducting inventories.

Maintain warehouse in a neat, clean and orderly manner.

Monitor and maintain forklifts.

Notify Parts Manager of barriers to completing assigned workload.

Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.

Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION  QUALIFICATIONS  AND  REQUIREMENTS:

Must be DRUG FREE.

High school diploma or GED.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must have and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge).  

Must provide a 3-year Department of Motor Vehicle Report (DMV) with no more than 2 moving violations, no DUI convictions and no Reckless Driving.

Some warehouse experience preferred.

Must have legible handwriting.

Ability to operate a fork lift.

Ability to communicate, understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Must possess problem-solving abilities and be detail oriented.

Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Ability to drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles.

Ability to function within working conditions and physical requirements described above.

Ability to work assigned hours. Including overtime and weekends as needed.

PHYSICAL  REQUIREMENTS: 

Must be able to move quickly.  Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.). Must be able to operate a forklift. Must have good vision in order to read parts numbers.

WORKING  CONDITIONS:

Periodically exposed to all outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, insects and other conditions, which may exist from time to time. Work performed in an open warehouse environment with no air conditioning and minimal heating. Moderate noise level.
