POSITION  SUMMARY: 

Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer’s requirements. Install in accordance to manufacturer’s specifications protective film (DuPont Rap Guard).

ESSENTIAL  FUNCTIONS:                                      

As needed, wash exterior of vehicles by hand or through car wash as instructed.

In an efficient and thorough manner, clean inside of vehicles as required by manufacturer which includes, but is not limited to vacuuming, cleaning windows and removing all trash and debris from vehicles.

Maintain a clean, safe and productive work area by properly disposing of all trash and debris and washing cleaning cloths as instructed.

In compliance with Safety Policies and Procedures, obey all safety rules and regulations and wear all appropriate safety equipment.

Assist in Body Shop when there is no buffing needed in the Detail area.

Install in accordance to manufacturer’s specifications protective film (DuPont Rap Guard).

Must have a spotter when backing up vehicles.

Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.

Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION  QUALIFICATIONS  AND  REQUIREMENTS:

Must be DRUG FREE.

High school diploma or GED.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must have and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge).  

Must provide a 3-year Department of Motor Vehicle Report (DMV) with no more than 2 moving violations, no DUI convictions and no Reckless Driving.

Ability to operate/use required equipment, such as battery charger and washing machine and dryer.

Ability to read and write.

Ability to effectively communicate, understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Ability to record and verify numbers 17 characters in length.

Ability to drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles.

Ability to function within working conditions and physical requirements described above.

Ability to work assigned hours. Including overtime and weekends as needed.

PHYSICAL  REQUIREMENTS: 

Must be able to endure long periods of standing, kneeling and bending. Must be able to reach and lift using full range of body motion.

WORKING  CONDITIONS:

Exposed to all outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, insects and other conditions which may exist from time to time. Work with chemicals and water which require periodic use of protective clothing including goggles and gloves.
