Job Responsibilities:
Job Summary:
Engaged in maintaining and repairing electrical systems of buildings, machinery, and grounds by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment problems.
Design, modify, and install equipment as needed.
Communicate with departmental supervisor and management regarding equipment problems, needed repairs, and scheduling of repairs and maintenance.
Maintain equipment files and updating electrical schematics to note changes
Maintain Electrical parts and supplies inventory
Understanding of electric, pneumatic and hydraulic energy sources.
Work with blueprints, specifications, and other standards including NEC Codes
Knowledge Industrial Electrical Maintenance
Follow all required work safe practices including lock-out tag-out requirements and wearing of all required PPE in designated areas including arc flash protective equipment.
Experience and Education:
Industrial Electrician with extensive knowledge of PLC's, VFD's, Instrumentation and motor control circuits.
Must have basic knowledge of hydraulics and pnuematics.
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training.
