Engineering Scheduling & Tracking Analyst I
Unique Skills:
Ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, proficient in Microsoft Excel and works well with all levels of an organization. Ability to provide analysis insights to engage pro-active planning and risk avoidance is desirable.
Experience with CTS or another web-based scheduling software is a desirable
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Entry level. Data processing, planning, sched/track, or related analytical experience utilizing project mgmt tools. Requires proven experience with PC based software such as Project,Excel,Word,PPT. Knowledge of Access a plus.
Position Purpose:
Under general supervision, gathers, organizes and analyzes data to create weekly and monthly measurement charts for the Engineering organization, functional groups, and various manufacturing build teams. Responsible for developing and preparing Engineering performance measurement charts & maintaining Project Engineering schedules.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions: 1. Assists in the preparation and maintenance of tracking data with various Engineering systems, special projects, and other activities as necessary. 2. Works with Engineering group to prepare milestone reports. 3. Analyzes data from various Engineering sources and prepares trend analysis/reports to assist management with making decisions. 4. Collects and analyzes data to develop new measures for performance measurement. 5. Responsible for preparing and maintaining master and functional schedules within Engineering.
Additional Functions: 1. Automates data manipulation with macros where necessary. 2. Provides support with development of miscellaneous reports and data extracts when required. 3. Coordinates with customers and keeps project data current. Perform other duties as assigned.
