We are looking for an Electrical Systems Engineer in Atlanta, GA area. Ideal candidate will have Hardware/Electrical Engineer experience with basic Networking understanding. This position is working on 3D Imaging systems that have a number of electronic components that get assembled and have to work together including machine vision cameras (imaging for industrial automation environments/manufacturing plants), LED panels and PCs.  salary $40-$80K DOE

Responsibilities:

• Participate in product manufacturing and manage small teams to meet production deadlines.
• Identify and implement improvements to the production of client 3D capture systems.
• Perform on-site installation and training of client systems and software.
• Participate in product development and customer support activities.
• Develop design and instructional documentation (e.g.: schematics, diagrams, manuals, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned from time to time by the Director, Technical Operations.
  

Requirements:

• BS in Engineering or similar technical background.
• 3-5 years experience as Hardware Engineer or Electrical Engineer.
• Experience in production and/or field installations of electronics systems.
• Experience with microcontroller or PCB design and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in assembling and troubleshoot electronics (crimping, soldering, custom cabling, etc.)
• Able to assist with CE/UL certification of new systems.
• Basic understanding of optics for imaging devices.
• Experience with machine vision cameras or photogrammetry systems is ideal.
• Basic understanding of LED technology.
• Basic understanding of computer networking systems.
• Must be able to travel throughout the US and Internationally 20% annually
