Description

OnTrack Staffing is hiring for a Zone Lead for a Cell Phone Refurbishing company in the Alliance area of Fort Worth Texas.  This is a 2nd shift position 5:30pm-2:00 am Monday-Friday with mandatory overtime on Saturday as needed.  Contact Beth Rennecker for onsite interview beth.rennecker@otstaffing.com 972-454-4414

Position Summary:

Coordinate activities carried out within the production process for the (s) area (s) of action in order to meet production schedules on time, quantities and pre-established quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the activities performed in the production process, monitoring, guiding and evaluating the implementation of the program.
  • Set the production and allocate the resources needed to meet the program.
  • Ensure that the production line is always supplied with productive and unproductive material.
  • Follow up on Yield and the quantity produced by comparing the data with the goals and take action to correct any deviations.
  • Authorize the request of components and consumables for the area.
  • Serve as the focal point for audits.
  • Check the opening and closing Work Orders area, following the maturities.
  • Check the material WIP (work in process).
  • Maintain contact with the areas of support for the process whenever necessary.
  • Ensure the recording of data in-floor factory control system (Shop Floor Control).
  • Disseminate and ensure the implementation of quality policies, safety, occupational health and environment.
  • Manage the team work, selecting, orienting, training, following the performance, evaluating performance, enforcing the organizational procedures and safety standards and interacting with other matters involving personnel.
  • Conduct performance evaluation to operators.
  • Ensure compliance with 5S methodology (organization and standardization) line under their responsibility.
  • Identify the units of time (days) above the established goal and prioritize them in the production process.
  • Direct support of supervisors.
  • Interact and collaborate with support areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent and a minimum of 2 years working as a Line Leader PI or equivalent experience.
  • Design of resources to meet production programs.
  • SOP processes (Skill Matrix)
  • Understand the Production Flow process and the Job responsibilities of the area.
  • Feedback: a tool for professional development.
  • People Management skills and Disciplinary measures.
  • Quality Tools such as PDCA, 8D.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Keep your work area daily, according to the standard of the 5S 's.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing /EMC Teams and / or FIH key principles on quality, costs, productivity and social responsibility, etc.
  • Comply with and enforce the provisions of the System Management Environment, Health and Safety.
  • Ensure that policies, procedures and work instructions of your work area are updated and implemented.
  • Comply with the annual mandatory training plan.
  • Maintain the effectiveness of the Quality Management System according to the applicable standards.
  • Ensure that determine and fulfill the requirements according to Customer commitment and regulatory provisions applicable.
