OnTrack Staffing is looking for Senior QA Lead to assist Cell phone refurbishing client in Alliance Area of Fort Worth, Texas.  This is 2nd shift position 5:30 pm-2:00 am Monday-Friday with mandatory overtime on Saturday as needed.  Candidates must be able to work in metal free environment.   Contact Beth Rennecker to schedule onsite interview beth.rennecker@otstaffing.com 972-454-4414

 

Position Summary:

Leading the work carried out during the audit process of raw materials and finished products inspection in order to verify compliance with the standards and requirements of pre-established quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leading the work carried out during the audit process of raw materials and finished products inspection in order to verify compliance with the standards and requirements of pre-established quality.
  • Manage next to the top: vacation, faults, differences of opinion, and disciplinary measures of Quality Operators.
  • Ensure full communication between sectors and / or support areas, as well as internal customers.
  • Influencing the group's activities to achieve goals.
  • Ensure at acceptable levels the good relationship within the team and between the team and other areas.
  • Assist in the analysis of non-compliances observed in materials and products.
  • Perform visual, dimensional and functional audit testing products as pre-established inspection standards and procedures.
  • Identify and separate the non-compliant products, as standards and pre-established inspection procedures.
  • Conduct audits in manufacturing processes related to quality, identifying compliance with the procedures and standards, assessing the conditions of the control equipment, environmental conditions and performing control measurements in order to contribute to ensuring the performance of processes.
  • Provide guidance to operators regarding the implementation of work instructions, as necessary.
  • Perform the release of data on specific spreadsheets, for the inspections made.
  • Perform the launch and release of products through integrated systems (eg SAP, MMS.) And shop floor control.
  • Generate quality reports as necessary.
  • Monitor and ensure the correct performance of the team activities ensuring that comply with pre-established procedures and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate to maintain the quality programs and continuous improvement, following rules and procedures, identifying potential improvements and acting to implement them.
  • Comply with the rules and procedures for the quality management system, environment, safety and occupational health.
  • Ensure the order, safekeeping and preservation of materials, equipment under their responsibility and the workplace as well as keep the organization of all documentation related to the work process.
  • Perform other related activities at the discretion of your supervisor and / or in relation to the procedures of their work process and / or in relation to the quality system procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years as Quality Leader PI or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to develop training materials and train others and administer disciplinary action as needed.
  • Social posture, professional and communication in the workplace.
  • Feedback: a tool for professional development.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process flow.
  • Quality Tools Ishikawa Diagram knowledge, DMAIC, PDCA, 8D.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Deadline and detailed oriented.
  • Good vision capabilities to perform visual inspections focus on small, intricate parts.
  • Keep your work area daily, according to the standard of the 5S 's.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing /EMC Teams and / or FIH key principles on quality, costs, productivity and social responsibility, etc.
  • Comply with and enforce the provisions of the System Management Environment, Health and Safety.
  • Ensure that policies, procedures and work instructions of your work area are updated and implemented.
  • Comply with the annual mandatory training plan.
  • Maintain the effectiveness of the Quality Management System according to the applicable standards.
  • Ensure that determine and fulfill the requirements according to Customer commitment and regulatory provisions applicable.
