Description

Ontrack Staffing is hiring for Failure Analysis Technician to work in Alliance Area of Fort Worth Texas.  This is 1st shift 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday with mandatory overtime as needed on Saturday.  Candidates must be able to work in metal free environment.  Please apply online and call Beth Rennecker to schedule onsite interview 972-454-4414 beth.rennecker@otstaffing.com

Position Summary:

Failure Analysis Technician is responsible for analyzing failures, monitoring outcomes and implementing improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts entry level failure analysis of units with defects or damaged or that failed during the manufacturing process.
  • Provides support to Manufacturing Engineers in data collection runs, experiments, quality improvements, engineering changes, etc. as well as preparation of requisitions, routine jobs, etc.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs failed products.
  • Work with other more experienced technicians in finding root cause of a failed unit.
  • Report daily the greatest contributions in their work.
  • Generate Reports and Perform special duties as requested by Supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Electronics or Electrical engineering (circuitry) preferred with a minimum of 1 year working as a FA technician in electronics or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong ability to comprehend process flows
  • Solid knowledge in electronics; analog, power and digital
  • Knowledge of Quality Control principles and methodology is an asset
  • Good Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical reasoning and problem solving
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Keep your work area daily, according to the standard of the 5S 's.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing /EMC Teams and / or FIH key principles on quality, costs, productivity and social responsibility, etc.
  • Comply with and enforce the provisions of the System Management Environment, Health and Safety.
  • Ensure that policies, procedures and work instructions of your work area are updated and implemented.
  • Comply with the annual mandatory training plan.
  • Maintain the effectiveness of the Quality Management System according to the applicable standards.
