Description

OnTrack Staffing is assisting Cell Phone Refurbishing Company in Alliance area of  Fort Worth.  This is long term contract possible temp to hire 1st shift 8:30am-5pm  Monday-Friday with overtime as needed on Saturday.  Qualified candidates must be able to stand for majority of shift and work in a metal free environment.
This position is responsible for managing day-to-day operations and core functions of operations in kitting area to achieve and maintain operational excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support raw materials fulfillment to production line.
  • Give direction to the direct labor associated with Kitting functions.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy of 99.%.
  • Responsible for Kitting fulfillment utilization.
  • Direct kitting parts fulfill, swap parts process, inventory and RMA return in daily activities.
  • Responsible for production related material activities.
  • Co-work with production line and other departments to increase efficiency of material flow and inventory accuracy.
  • Responsible for the review and the support to the direct labor staff.
  • Connection with the temporary agency to ensure the quality of staff for the direct labor positions is suitable for the business being performed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School degree.
  • Minimum of 1 years related experience in where house inventory operations or similar experience.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Must possess excellent computer skills (Microsoft applications (i.e. excel, word, PPT, etc).
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and possess a "can-do" with quality first attitude and take "ownership" over kitting operations initiatives.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Keep your work area daily, according to the standard of the 5S 's.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing /EMC Teams and / or FIH key principles on quality, costs, productivity and social responsibility, etc.
  • Comply with and enforce the provisions of the System Management Environment, Health and Safety.
  • Ensure that policies, procedures and work instructions of your work area are updated and implemented.
  • Comply with the annual mandatory training plan.
  • Maintain the effectiveness of the Quality Management System according to the applicable standards.
  • Ensure that determine and fulfill the requirements according to Customer commitment and regulatory provisions applicable.

Desired Qualifications:

  • WH Inventory Experience Preferred
  • SAP Experience Preferred
