Description

This position will be responsible for providing facilities maintenance to include repairs for the CLR Corporate and remote field office buildings. . This position is responsible for office furniture management, inventory and redeployment for all move and installation requests. This position must work closely with management to determine best business practices and ensure operations run smoothly to meet the CLR standards of safety and cleanliness. This position typically reports to the Facilities and Services Manager.  Company is will to train the right candidate.  Must be a self motivator!

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provide general maintenance for electrical, mechanical or plumbing systems needed to resolve building service requests
  • Maintain completed work in the Track-It work order ticketing system
  • Receives training and direction to assist with and implement facility plans and perform scheduled PM’s
  • Evaluate vendors to ensure compliance with the standards of performance, safety, insurance, etc.
  • Read blueprints and designs for machinery and related equipment
  • Maintain the physical plant, fan rooms, shop, tool room, mechanical and storage rooms etc. are kept organized
  • Setup/teardown/move office furniture, cubicles or tables in rooms and lifting objects when necessary
  • This position requires on call 24/7 for urgent needs, security, disasters and/or after hour special projects
  • Make good decisions and be able to offer creative solutions to unique issues that may arise
  • Capable of driving distances of 150 miles or more per day during all types of weather conditions
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, or general education degree (GED)
  • 1 to 3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous OSHA or safety training a plus
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stoop, stand, walk, pull, carry instruments, and climb stairs and ladders and work in close proximities
  • Ability to perform fine manipulations with hands and fingers
  • Regular bending, crouching, pulling and kneeling to inspect equipment
  • Ability to one arm carry up to 25lbs. without assistance
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to exert up to 50lbs. of force occasionally and up to 20lbs. frequently to move or manipulate objects
