Responsibilities:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with changes, delays, or unexpected events
- Must be able to examine orders, act promptly
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Partner with WHSE. personal, procurement team, and sales to forecast incoming shipping requirements & schedules
- Rate all orders in TSM and prepares labels, BOL’s, packing slips, and tracking
- Stage customer pickup orders in WHSE.
- Checking orders before they go out to the warehouse to ensure that they are correct
- Scheduling inbound freight trucks, including checking what products are inbound what we are low on and prioritizing the trucks
- Schedule freight pick- ups with freight carriers
- Meet customer pick-ups, take payment and send orders to the warehouse
- Monitor EOD (End of day) report to make sure each order has freight charge, tracking, quote charge
- Complete special projects at Manager discretion.
Job Qualifications:
- Previous Warehouse Clerk experience (preferred)
- Ability to work within a team
- Demonstrates reliable attendance and work history
Punctuality – Ability to be at work early to get prepared for the day
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic Computer skills including Word and Excel
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
- Has a Professional Appearance (Business Casual)
- Ability to write a professional email to be read by important customers or vendors
Full time, Monday – Friday 8-5:30 pm position that supports the efforts of our Warehouse through assisting with the daily warehouse office duties.
