Looking to hire a Security Guard for a well-established company in the Denton County, TX area.

1st Shift Must be available to work any time between 5a-6pm

.The ideal Loss Prevention Security Guard helps prevent loss of inventory through interactions, X-Ray scanners, training with other coworkers, maintaining a visible presence throughout the facility and interacting with employees in a professional and pleasant demeanor.

+ Greet and engage employees in a timely, professional and personable manner while screening personal items

+ Maintain visible presence by wearing a company provided security officer style uniform

+ Understand how to use CCTV and card access systems

+ Assess and assist in emergency situations

+ Reduce and control loss of inventory through screening, audits, and training

+ Maintain a high level of confidentiality

+ The ability to maintain an active, visible floor presence as a deterrent in the facility

+ A calm head when dealing with safety issues, including dealing with customers, associates and 3rd party vendors who become upset

+ Accountability, initiative and a high level of ownership

+ Meet any local licensing requirements + The ability to multi-task

+ The ability to use Word and Excel at a basic level

+ The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs this also may include working overnight and weekends
