Operate all distribution activities in the mos efficient and safe manner. Specifically, the Warehouse Specialist will perfom all distribution functions for the assigned shift. Responsible to attain and maintain high safety, delivery and quality standards. Perform the day to day operations of the Distribution Center utilizing SAPs Warehouse Management System.

Essential Duties:

• Follow al of UCI Standard Operating Procedures. To include but not limited to: WMS, SAP, Cycle Counts, GEMBA board, and other tasks as assigned.
• Improve daily metrics that is assinged by the Supervisor for the assigned shift.
• Improve efficiency, speed, or quality of distribution services and demostrated by the GEMBA and Shift reports.
• WMS proficiency demonstrated by: WMS problem solving by utilizing the SAP reports. Ensure all warehouse discrepencies are resolved within shift.
• Expedite the completion of production put away, picking and processing of orders, packing and shipping of all orders during assigned shift. Ensure the completion of all tasks assigned by Distribution Leads, Distribution Supervisor, Distribution VSM or any Senior Leadership.
• Assist in the implementation of continuation of 5s strategy throughout all aspects of distribution in accordance with 5s methology.
• Maintain and improve receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Execute NCRs within a shift of receiving products from freight company.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by following the established security procedures and protocols.
• Perform daily shipping error assesment and make corrections to inventory as directed. Follow up with a timely cause report of the shipping errors.
• Ensure the completion of the replenishment process during assigned shift.
• Follow and ensure that written Standard Operating Procedures are followed.

Education/Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma

2+ years' experience in Logistics

2+ years' experience in Warehouse Management Systems

Knowledge of SAP MM/VM

2- years' of Sit Down Forklift
