ESSENTIAL duties and responsibilities:

1. Collect, organize, monitor and report quality data.

2. Coordinate the completion of corrective actions in a timely manner.

3. Recommend and implement approved quality improvement initiatives.

4. Control, dispose, record, and report all non-conforming material.

5. Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions and quality plans as needed.

6. Provide quality engineering support to the plant.

7. Perform internal quality audits.

8. Assist in implementing new quality programs and maintaining the quality management and document control system.

9. Conduct quality training as needed.

10. Understand the APQP process and prepare associated documents as needed.

11. Manage the calibration process for inspection gauges and other calibrated tools.

12. Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.

13. Performs other related duties as assigned.
